HERBILEN SL

The Herbilen SL is a material made from EVA copolymers (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate), one of the thermoplastic materials most commonly used in the manufacture of plantar orthoses.

It is indicated for both the manufacture of corrective and functional insoles, offering a balance between support and comfort thanks to its hardness range.

It is a very lightweight, washable material with low water absorption, easy to cut and glue, which can be heat molded and has good stability. Its closed-cell structure improves the durability and hygiene of the material.

Thanks to its 4 mm thickness, it is especially suitable for providing cushioning and comfort, while maintaining good adaptability to the foot.

INDICATIONS:

• Material for bases and postings in insoles.
• Manufacture of orthoses, heel lifts, and stabilizing or corrective elements.
• Morton extensions and forefoot or rearfoot wedges.

COMPOSITION:

• EVA copolymer (ethylene and vinyl acetate) ≤ 90 %.
• Other polymers ≤ 30 %.
• Inorganic reinforcing agents ≤ 35 %.
• Vulcanizing agents ≤ 3 %.
• Pigments ≤ 7 %.
  

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• Density: 0.22 ± 0.05 g/cm³.
• Hardness (Shore A): 43 – 65°.
• Thermoformable: 110 – 140 °C.
