MEASURING GONIOMETERS 

We have a series of strips and goniometers such as  Regla de Perthes  or the goniometric rule. These products are intended to measure the angles of the axis of the foot.

RADIOLOGY

Laboratorios Herbitas has conventional material such as films and developers. The radiological protection material is very important because it is designed to protect both the patient and the operator. We now have the modern FLAT PANNEL; a device designed to display the X-ray immediately in the computer screen with great clarity and it has a specific software that facilitates the processing, archiving and export of the image.

STUDY OF THE FOOTSTEP

The study of the footstep is worthwhile and really important in the podiatry field. Many of the decisions to be made such as the creation of insoles or other actions will be conditioned by these studies.

PEDIGRAPHS AND PODOSCOPES

Traditionally, pedigraphs and podoscopes have been used for the analysis of the footstep.

The podoscope receives the image on a surface in mirror mode and allows the visualization of the plantar support by the professional. The pedigraph has a rubber that is impregnated with ink and it is separated a few millimeters from a sheet of paper. When it receives the pressure of the footstep leaves marked the print indicating the points of greater pressure. In this way it allows the conservation of the same one.

Moreover, we have a pedigraph model known as Podotrack. This product is made of loose leaves without the need for a frame and the professional can take them to residences, hospitals, homes and so on. Thus, it is able to obtain the print without the need to carry the complete pedigraph.

ECOGRAPHS

The ultrasound machine is emerging as the great ally in diagnosis and exploration both for physiotherapy and podiatry.

Its non-invasive harmless technology and its wide range of analysis allows the study of muscles, tendons and it is a great ally in the field of ultrasound techniques.
