NON-ABSORBABLE BRAIDED POLYAMIDE NYLON SUTURE

The braided polyamide nylon suture is a sterile non-absorbable suture made of coated polyamide 6.6 multifilament, designed for the approximation of soft tissues and ligatures in general surgery.

Thanks to its coated multifilament structure, it combines the advantages of both systems:

• Flexibility and handling typical of multifilament sutures.
• Smoother surface that improves tissue passage.

It is characterized by its high long-term strength, as it does not degrade or lose tension in the body, maintaining stability over extended periods.

It presents a minimal tissue reaction, becoming encapsulated after implantation. It is especially suitable for skin sutures, oral surgery, and superficial wound closure.

INDICATIONS:

• Soft tissue closure.

• Not recommended for deep wounds with risk of infection.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:

• Open the sterile packaging.
• Remove the suture dispenser.
• Pull the needle to unwind the thread.
• Apply appropriate surgical technique.
  

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

• Patients with hypersensitivity to its components.

SIDE EFFECTS:

• Wound reopening or insufficient closure.
• Moderate inflammation.
• Suppuration or bleeding.
• Local irritation.
