Description

NON-ABSORBABLE NYLON MONOFILAMENT SUTURE

The non-absorbable nylon monofilament suture is a sterile suture designed for the approximation of soft tissues and its use as a ligature in general surgery, including plastic and cardiovascular procedures.

It is made of polyamide (nylon) monofilament, providing a smooth surface that facilitates passage through tissues, reducing friction and minimizing tissue reaction.

It is characterized by its high strength and long-term stability, as it degrades very slowly in the body, maintaining its properties over an extended period. Additionally, it presents a minimal tissue reaction, becoming encapsulated in the tissue after implantation.

Its design includes a stainless steel needle with a cutting triangular tip, allowing for precise and efficient tissue penetration.
