HERBITAS MARTINI DOUBLE CURETTE

The Herbitas Martini Double Curette is a professional instrument made of stainless steel, designed with a curette at each end and different diameter combinations to adapt to the professional's needs.

The range is available in three sizes: 00/0, 0/1 and 1/2, with diameters ranging from 2 to 4 mm, allowing the most suitable combination to be selected for each procedure.

Its ribbed handle surface provides a firm and secure grip on the instrument, facilitating precise handling during use.

It is a reusable, sterilisable and latex-free instrument. It is supplied non-sterile, so the cleaning, disinfection and sterilisation process must be correctly carried out before first use and after each use.

PRESENTATION:

• One plastic sleeve containing a Herbitas Martini Double Curette made of stainless steel, in the selected size.
• The instrument is supplied non-sterile.

CLEANING AND DISINFECTION:

• Remove visible dirt immediately to prevent residues from drying on the instrument.
• Avoid waiting periods of more than 1 hour before reprocessing.
• Whenever possible, initially remove residues using a dry cleaning method.
• If necessary, wash with distilled water, paying particular attention to hard-to-reach areas.
• A soft-bristled plastic brush may be used to remove visible dirt.
• Manual disinfection or, preferably, ultrasonic cleaning using an enzymatic detergent is recommended.
• After disinfection, rinse thoroughly with distilled water.
• Dry the instrument completely before sterilisation or storage.
   

STERILISATION:

• The Herbitas Martini Double Curette is reusable and steam sterilisable.
• According to the technical data sheet, the following cycles may be used in Europe:
• Minimum 15 minutes at 121 ºC and 110 kPa.
• Minimum 3 minutes at 134 ºC and 210 kPa.
• As an initial recommendation, the data sheet indicates carrying out two sterilisation cycles to remove any lubricant residues that may remain in the less accessible areas of the instrument.

PRECAUTIONS TO PREVENT CORROSION:

• Avoid prolonged contact with saline solutions, chlorinated salts, acidic salts and iodine tinctures.
• Do not use steel wool, metal brushes or abrasive materials.
• Prevent biological residues from drying on the instrument.
• Do not clean in an ultrasonic bath together with instruments made from materials other than stainless steel.
• Avoid excessive immersion times.
• Dry immediately and thoroughly after washing and disinfection.

• Clean, disinfect and sterilise before first use and after each use.

• Must be used by properly trained and qualified personnel.
• Perform a visual and functional inspection before each use.
