CLEANING AND DISINFECTION:

• Perform a visual and mechanical inspection before using the instrument.
• Before reprocessing, manual washing with water and neutral soap is recommended.
• Remove visible residues immediately after use to prevent them from drying.
• Avoid waiting periods of more than 1 hour before reprocessing.
• A soft-bristled plastic brush may be used for cleaning.
• Disinfection may be carried out in an ultrasonic bath or container using distilled water and a suitable disinfectant.
• Always follow the disinfectant manufacturer's instructions regarding time, temperature and washing programme.
• After disinfection, rinse thoroughly with cold distilled water.
• Dry the instrument completely before storage or sterilisation.
