D-500 WHITE PODIATRY SILICONE

D-500 Silicone is a white podiatry silicone formulated from a fluid silicone elastomer free from oils and paraffins.

It is a material that vulcanises at room temperature through a polycondensation reaction. When a suitable catalyst is added, the silicone transforms into an elastic and durable material.

It has a hardness of 26.1 Shore A, a tensile strength of 1.93 MPa and a high elongation at break of 605.9%, properties that produce a flexible material once vulcanised.

Its oil-free and paraffin-free formulation and mechanical properties make it an option for professional applications requiring a silicone elastomer with these characteristics.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

1. Take the required amount of silicone and add the appropriate catalyst. The ratio indicated in the technical data sheet is 100 parts silicone to 5 parts catalyst.
2. Mix quickly by hand or with a spatula until the product begins to harden, for approximately 1 minute.
3. The working time before hardening is approximately 4 minutes.
4. Complete vulcanisation is achieved after 24 hours.

PRECAUTIONS:

• In the event of an allergic reaction, seek medical attention immediately.
• Inspect gloves before and after putting them on to detect any defects or imperfections.
• Check that the gloves used are suitable for their intended purpose.
