Medium-hardness podiatric silicone (Shore A 15), ideal for the manufacture of palliative and corrective orthoses with a balance between support and comfort.
HARDNESS: 12 - 15 Shore A.
PRESENTATION: Box with 2 containers (A+B) of 50 g or 200 g each, depending on reference. Each kit includes a pair of measuring spoons to prevent mixing of components.
A+B silicones can be mixed together to achieve specific properties tailored to each patient’s needs.
The PODIA Soft A+B is a room-temperature vulcanizing silicone elastomer, designed for the manufacture of custom orthoses in podiatry.
It consists of two components (A + B) which, when mixed, become an elastic and resistant material with intermediate hardness (Shore A 15), making it an excellent option for treatments that require a balance between cushioning and corrective capacity.
It is especially indicated for the manufacture of palliative and corrective orthoses, being ideal in cases of pain, pressure or intolerance to harder materials. It allows the manufacture of solutions for forefoot, bunions, fifth toe and interdigital separators.
Thanks to its ease of handling, dimensional stability and good mechanical properties, it is a very versatile material for professional use.
INDICATIONS:
Manufacture of podiatric and orthoplastic orthoses.
Palliative and corrective orthoses.
Reduction of pressure and friction areas.
Interdigital separators.
Suitable for all ages.
PRESENTATION:
Box with 2 containers (A + B).
Includes dosing spoons.
Quantity according to reference: 200 g + 200 g | 50 g + 50 g.
FEATURES:
Medium hardness (Shore A 15).
Elastic and resistant material.
Does not break or stick to hands.
Can be mixed with other A+B silicones.
Includes medicinal oils.
Uniform appearance, without odors or greasiness.
COMPOSITION:
Silicone polymer (components A + B).
Medicinal oil.
TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:
Mixing ratio (A/B): 1:1.
Working time: 1 – 1.5 minutes.
Curing time: 4 – 5 minutes.
Hardness after 1 hour: 15 Shore A (±2).

Odor: Odorless.
ADVANTAGES:
No by-products are generated during the reaction.
Platinum catalyst → greater compatibility.
High precision and dimensional stability.
Good mechanical properties.
Lower sensitivity to environmental conditions.
INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:
Mix the same amount of component A and B.
Knead until obtaining a homogeneous mixture.
Shape the orthosis according to the patient's needs.
