STERILE ADHESIVE STRIPS

INDICATIONS FOR USE:

• To approximate skin edges in superficial wounds with regular edges and no tension.
• To reinforce wounds after suture removal.
• To complement sutures, staples, or tissue adhesives.
• For use exclusively by healthcare professionals.
  

TECHNICAL FEATURES:

• COMPOSITION:

- Non-woven polyester and polyamide fabric.

- Hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive.

- Latex-free.

• CONTENT: box of 150 units (50 packs of 3 strips each).
• STERILE: yes.
• DIMENSIONS: 6 x 75 mm.
• THICKNESS: 0.30 ± 0.05 µ.
• WEIGHT: 44 ± 5 g/m².

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Select the appropriate size.
• Clean, disinfect, and dry the wound.
• Check the integrity of the packaging before opening.
• Remove the strip from the siliconized backing under sterile conditions.
• Place one end of the strip in the center of the wound and approximate the edges without stretching.
• Add additional strips, leaving a 2-5 mm space between them.
• To reduce tension, additional strips may be placed perpendicularly at the edges.
• Perform visual follow-up after removal.
  

WARNINGS:

• Do not apply to infected, deep, irregular wounds or those with excessive skin tension.
• Do not use in cases of excessive exudate, hair, grease, or on folds and joints.
• Avoid removing the strips abruptly.
• Contraindicated in patients with acrylic hypersensitivity.
  

STORAGE:

• Store in a clean, cool, and dry environment.
• Protect from direct sunlight.
