Irrigation Solution

IRRIGATION SOLUTION 

The Vitulia Irrigation Solution is a sterile and endotoxin-free solution, formulated with sodium chloride (NaCl) at 0.9% in water for injections. It is designed for irrigation and cleaning during surgical procedures, wound and burn treatment, rinsing medical instruments, stoma care, and respiratory humidifiers, among other medical uses.

This Class I sterile medical product comes in a plastic bottle protected by a cardboard cover and is available in two formats: 250 ml and 500 ml. It is recommended for exclusive use by healthcare professionals and should be discarded after opening to prevent contamination.

INDICATIONS FOR USE:

• For irrigation and cleaning during a surgical procedure.
• For wound and burn irrigation.
• For moistening closed wounds and dressings.
• For rinsing and cleaning bladder catheters.
• For irrigation and cleaning in stoma care.
• For rinsing and cleaning medical instruments.
• For intra- and postoperative irrigation in endoscopic procedures without active HF or after RTU intervention.
• For filling respiratory humidifiers.
• For mechanical eye irrigation.
• For nasal irrigation.

COMPOSITION: 

1000 ml of solution contain:

• Sodium chloride: 9 g.
• Water for injections q.s.

Electrolytes:

• Sodium: 154 mmol/l.
• Chloride: 154 mmol/l.

A plastic bottle protected by a cardboard cover. Content according to reference:

• Ref. 16.547.18: Irrigation Solution 250 ml.
• Ref. 16.547.19: Irrigation Solution 500 ml.

DIRECTIONS FOR USE:
For professional use only. The amount of solution to be used will depend on the specific clinical procedure.

STORAGE

Store in a cool, dry place between 5 and 25 ºC.
