MCGLAMRY SHARP ELEVATOR

The DIMEDA McGlamry elevator is a high-precision surgical instrument, specifically designed for use in foot surgery. It allows lifting and separating plantar soft tissues from the metatarsal bone, facilitating improved exposure and manipulation during surgical procedures.

It is especially indicated for reconstructive surgeries, such as hallux valgus and metatarsalgia, where precise and controlled access to anatomical structures is required. Its sharp spoon-shaped tip enables effective and safe work on tissues.

RECOMMENDATIONS FOR USE:

  • Carry out visual and mechanical inspection before each use.
  • Initially wash with water and neutral soap before disinfection.
  • Remove soil immediately after use to prevent corrosion.
  • Avoid long waiting times before instrument reprocessing.

 
CLEANING, DISINFECTION AND STERILIZATION:

  • Preferably clean dry or with cold distilled water.
  • Use soft-bristle plastic brushes.
  • Disinfect in ultrasonic bath or tank, following manufacturer’s instructions.
  • Sterilize by steam according to current regulations (121 °C or 134 °C).
  • Dry thoroughly after each process.
