Herbiform Basic Smooth Black is a material made from EVA (Ethylene Vinyl Acetate) copolymers processed by compression, designed for the manufacture and finishing of plantar orthoses.
Thanks to its properties, it can be used both for lining and cushioning insoles and for the manufacture of corrective or functional insoles. The hardness of the material influences the performance of the orthosis: the greater the hardness, the greater the corrective effect, while lower hardness levels provide greater comfort.
It is a very lightweight, washable material with low water absorption. It is also easy to cut and bond and offers good stability, making it easy to handle during the insole manufacturing process.
