EVABASE SHORE 70

The Evabase Shore 70 is a material made from EVA copolymers (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate), widely used in the manufacture of plantar orthoses.

It is indicated for both corrective and functional insoles, providing a high corrective effect thanks to its high hardness.

It is a very lightweight, washable material with low water absorption, easy to cut and glue, non-toxic and with high stability.

Thanks to its 1 mm thickness, it is ideal as a base layer, reinforcement or structural element, maintaining rigidity without adding volume.

Available in black or blue, depending on reference.

 
INDICATIONS:

• Manufacture of standard insoles.
• Lining of orthoses (internal padding, outsole and midsole).
• Manufacture of corrective or functional insoles.
   

FEATURES:

• EVA copolymers (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate) with pigments and fillers.
• EVA sheet.
• Dimensions: 84 x 150 cm.
• Thickness: 1 mm.
• Color: Black or blue.
• High hardness (Shore 70).
• Lightweight and resistant material.

TECHNICAL CHARACTERISTICS:

• Density: 0.42 ± 0.03 g/cm³.
• Outer hardness (Shore A): 70 – 75°.
• Inner hardness (Shore A): 68 – 73°.
• Shrinkage: 1.0 ± 0.5 %.
   

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE / WARNINGS:

• Thermoformable with caution at 100 °C for 3 minutes.
• May shrink between 10% and 12% if the process is not controlled.
