ALIVIOVISCO FIX WITH HYPOALLERGENIC ADHESIVE 200 X 10 X 1 CM

Aliviovisco® Fix with hypoallergenic adhesive is a soft-touch viscoelastic foam dressing supplied in a roll, designed for the prevention of pressure injuries. Its format allows the required amount to be cut quickly and easily and applied to different surfaces to distribute pressure evenly.

It helps to prevent skin injuries caused by pressure, friction or minor impacts, especially in areas close to splints, casts, prostheses, medical equipment or rigid surfaces.

It is made from highly breathable open-cell viscoelastic polyurethane foam, with thermosensitive properties and slow recovery. Its soft feel and adaptability allow weight to be distributed evenly and help relieve areas subjected to pressure.

It incorporates a neutral-pH hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive suitable for contact with the skin. However, the product is not designed or recommended for direct application to the skin. Therefore, when it is necessary to apply it in this way, it is recommended to first use a layer of skin barrier film for protection.

COMPOSITION:

100% open-cell polyurethane dressing with neutral-pH hypoallergenic acrylic adhesive suitable for contact with the skin.

INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE:

• Cut the required amount of Aliviovisco® Fix for the area where it is to be used.
• If direct application to the skin is required, it is recommended to first use a layer of skin barrier film as protection between the dressing and the skin.
• As this is a non-sterile product, its use should be avoided in situations where sterility is required.

DRESSING REMOVAL:

• Lift one corner of the dressing and remove it slowly, keeping the foam parallel to the skin.
• Support the skin with the other hand during removal to avoid pulling on the skin.
• A small amount of body oil, mineral oil, baby oil, warm water or a medical adhesive remover may be used to facilitate removal.
• After removing the dressing, gently clean any adhesive or foam residue with water and neutral soap or oil.
• Dry the area without rubbing.
• If the skin remains red, a soothing moisturising cream may be applied.

PRESENTATION:

One pink roll measuring 2 metres long, 10 cm wide and 1 cm thick.

CONTRAINDICATIONS:

Aliviovisco® Fix is not designed or recommended for direct application to the skin, open wounds, damaged skin or skin subjected to intense tension or friction, as this could cause skin damage.

SHELF LIFE:

When kept in its original packaging at a stable temperature of 21 ºC and a relative humidity of 50%, the product has a shelf life of 12 months.
