The DIMEDA Curved Mosquito Forceps with Tooth (Ref. 13.309.4) is a professional hemostatic instrument designed for selective compression of small blood vessels, helping control bleeding during surgical procedures.

Its scissor-like design, with a curved, serrated and toothed jaw, provides a firmer grip on tissue or small vessels, offering precise control to the professional.

CLEANING, DISINFECTION AND STERILIZATION:

Manual cleaning

  • Perform dry cleaning whenever possible.
  • Rinse with cold pressurized water, including cavities and grooves.
  • Use soft-bristle plastic brushes.
  • Dry thoroughly with lint-free cloth + compressed air.

Cleaning and disinfection

  • Immerse in distilled water + suitable disinfectant.
  • Ultrasonic cleaning recommended.
  • Keep joints open to avoid uncleaned areas.
  • Rinse with distilled water and dry completely.
  • Lubrication.
  • Before sterilization, apply protective oil (Refs. 13.859.1 / 13.859.2) to the joint.
  • Open and close to distribute.

Sterilization

  • Recommended cycles (Europe):

121 °C – 110 kPa – 15 min.
134 °C – 210 kPa – 3 min.

PRECAUTIONS:

  • Visually and mechanically inspect before each use.
  • Do not use if corrosion, damage or deformation is present.
  • Use only for the intended purpose.
  • Avoid abrasive materials during cleaning.
  • Do not mix with instruments of different materials in ultrasonic baths.
  • Keep out of the reach of children.
  • Product supplied non-sterile.
