INGROWN NAIL NIPPER EK 

The EK Nail Nipper is a high-precision professional instrument made of stainless steel, with a double spring, smooth handle and straight cut, specially designed for podiatry and aesthetic work.
Its extra-fine tip allows access to delicate areas such as corners, nail edges and sides, enabling clean and controlled cutting.

According to the technical datasheet (page 1), this instrument is sterilizable, reusable and latex-free, and is available in two lengths (11.5 cm and 13.0 cm) to adapt to the professional’s preference and hand size.

Its robust construction, with a double spring, ensures smooth opening, balanced pressure and long durability even after multiple sterilization cycles.

MAINTENANCE, CLEANING AND STERILIZATION:

Manual cleaning

  • Remove visible debris immediately to prevent corrosion.
  • Perform dry cleaning when possible; otherwise use distilled water.
  • Use a soft-bristle plastic brush.
  • Dry completely with lint-free cloth and compressed air.

Cleaning and disinfection

  • Use ultrasonic cleaners or trays with appropriate detergent/disinfectant.
  • Keep joints open during the process.
  • Rinse thoroughly with distilled water and dry well.

Lubrication

  • Before sterilization, apply protective oil (ref. 13.859.1 or 13.859.2).
  • Open and close to distribute the oil.

Sterilization
Steam (Europe):

  • 121 °C – 110 kPa – 15 minutes
  • 134 °C – 210 kPa – 3 minutes

 
WARNINGS:

  • Product supplied non-sterile → sterilize before first use.
  • Use only by qualified personnel.
  • Always perform a prior visual and mechanical check.
  • Do not use if corrosion, cracks or deformation are present.
  • Avoid contact with saline solutions or abrasive materials.
  • Keep out of reach of children.

Store in a cool, dry place, protected from direct sunlight.
