Characteristics:
The material from which the anti-scarring products are made is composed of three layers, an outer layer of knitted polyester, a middle layer of polyurethane (foam) and an inner layer that can be natural wool or polyester fabric which is in contact with the surface of the skin.
The edges of these products are covered with tape, for greater protection and reinforcement.
These articles incorporate elements that allow adequate containment.
Adaptation:
The professional advice of the technician or doctor is fundamental for a correct choice of the article, and thus to be able to adapt the product to the patient's need, always.
The product is placed in the area to relieve pressure (elbow, knee, heel, thigh, hands, etc...)
and it is adjusted with the straps, obtaining the subjection of the product to the body of the patient, provided that it does not produce discomfort and prevents blood circulation.
Precautions:
The materials used are hypoallergenic, but as they are in direct contact with the skin, it is not possible to guarantee 100% that no skin reaction will occur.
