The Herbiligere (H) is a material made from EVA copolymers (Ethylene-Vinyl Acetate), mainly designed for use as a base in the manufacture of insoles or as a stabilizing element in orthopedics.
EVA materials with higher hardness (high Shore) are commonly used for the manufacture of orthoses, heel lifts, corrective elements, Morton extensions and forefoot or rearfoot wedges. Conversely, softer materials are used for offloading, padding and pressure redistribution.
It is a resistant, stable and versatile material, with good mechanical performance against compression, abrasion and traction, making it suitable for technical applications in podiatry.
