Felts And Moleskines

This is one of the most important families for Laboratorios Herbitas. In fact, the use of various fabrics and felts, with an adhesive support, has always been the subject of massive use in podiatry.

There are many uses to which they are destined, being able to emphasize as the most daily the protection of the area in the chiropodies, to remain the area very sensitive and with the need to protect it until the regeneration of the epidermis.

Felts are also widely used for the manufacture of off-loading supports in foot risk and plantar ulcers.

TYPES OF FELTS IN HERBITAS

Our product program is very broad and we can mention the following types of felts: 

FLEECY WEB HERBITAS

Fleecy Web is commonly known as a felt with hypoallergenic adhesive very soft and with a raised fleecy surface. This product has pink hair very pulled and spongy. In this way a very squishy and padded fabric is obtained, ideal to protect the area after having realized the chiropodies until the epidermis is regenerated again. It is also widely used to protect against rubbing, blisters, pressures and so on.

The Fleecy web is a very successful product due to its excellent adhesive properties, its sponginess, softness and its great value for money.

It comes in different formats: rolls, some of them in large format economic size and now, as a novelty, also already die-cut, in the form of kidney, and in various sizes, for better comfort of the professional not having to cut the roll.

DIE-CUT FLEECY WEB

It is the same Fleecy Web commented before, but in die-cut format, that is to say, already cut in kidney shape and in different measures for its better and more comfortable application.

It is presented in bags with 100 units.

MOLESKIN

Moleskin is a fabric with adhesive but thinner and finer than Fleecy Web. In this case, the hair is not so stretched and is thinner.

Laboratorios Herbitas has this product in roll format and in two colors: Flesh and Pink color and with an excellent adhesive of hypoallergenic quality.

FELTS

This fabric is cuddlier and more compact than Fleecy Web and Moleskin. It is necessary to do so because its use is indicated for plantar off-loading in cases of diabetic foot ulcers, hyper pressures, foot risk and so on.

Laboratorios Herbitas has this product in rolls or sheets format and in different thicknesses: 2-3-4-5-8 and 10 mm.

It is available in different compositions: mixture of wool and polyester and 100% wool.

It is also available, as a novelty, in other formats such as smaller sheets for use by the patient or hospital box with a width of 10 cm.

HAPLA AND ZOPLA

Laboratorios Herbitas has also other models of all these felts: Fleecy Web, Moleskin and felts but manufactured in England of great quality.

In this case, both the fabric and the adhesive are of superior quality and the adhesives are available in Hapla (i.e. hypoallergenic) and Zopla format, which is a more powerful and durable Zinc Oxide adhesive, although in this case it can produce some kind of allergic reaction.
