INSTRUCTIONS FOR USE

1.- Initially, two reinforcement legs, partially prefabricated with spring steel wire, are adapted to the shape of the nail. A very small hook is formed at each end of the wire.	2.- The tiny hook gently hooks under the edge of the nail. Since orthopedic devices are not inserted by pressure but rather delicately hung under the nail margin, the patient barely perceives the insertion.

3.- The right and left legs of the brace are then connected with the loop. The tension of the orthopedic devices is coordinated with the patient: they should be snug, providing relief without causing discomfort. Upon activating the correction clip, the edge of the nail is lifted slightly, allowing the nail to resume its healthy and straight growth.	4.- Once all superfluous wire ends are removed, the orthopedic device can be sealed with UV gel (PediGel®). This secures the clip and prevents possible damage (e.g., to sheer stockings) caused by protruding wire ends.
