Why does ozone eliminate odors and disinfect?

Bad odors are generally organic compounds suspended in the air. Ozone is a gas that, when it comes into contact with these compounds, oxidizes them, that is, transforms them into degraded by-products that lose their smell. In other words, ozone destroys odours, attacking directly the origin of the problem, not masking it. By this same principle of oxidation, ozone is recognized as a powerful gaseous disinfectant, which quickly and effectively destroys viruses, bacteria, fungi, moulds, on surfaces. When ozone travels through the ventilation duct, it disinfects and deodorises surfaces, preventing micro-organisms from developing and creating resistant strains.

Why do the treatment without people?

Ozone can be harmful if a person is exposed to concentrations higher than those indicated in the current regulations. The same applies to oxygen, nitrogen and other gases that we breathe daily. In shock treatments, this rate of ozone is usually exceeded, which is why shock treatments must be carried out without the presence of people.

A powerful tool with many advantages

The ozone gas is generated on site and applied instantly, it is not stored or handled. It is applied fully automatically without the use of labour or chemicals.

After performing its function it decomposes into oxygen again, does not accumulate and has a low residual effect.

Society tends to control environmental hygiene, above all in those spaces where many people attend and where the risk of contracting diseases by contagion is greater, as is the case in nurseries, schools, gyms, geriatrics, medical practices, cinemas, theatres, etc.

With the ozone it is possible to disinfect an environment automatically, without using labor, or transporting chemicals.
