Bowie Dick Sterilization Test
Indicator sheets for Bowie-Dick type tests are designed to assess the proper air removal from the sterilization equipment and steam penetration.
It is a control test to measure the ability to remove air bubbles in porous bodies.

The Bowie-Dick Test Indicator Sheets are designed to monitor steam autoclaves with vacuum pump and pre-vacuum cycles daily for leaks, improper steam penetration, air bubbles and/or vacuum pump failure.
Control test to measure the ability of air bubbles to be removed from porous bodies.
Only suitable for class B autoclaves.
It is a control test to measure the ability to remove air bubbles in porous bodies. It consists of a chemical indicator located between porous paper sheets. The chemical indicator changes color from green to black when processed.

Each test is for one use only.
